Deacon care ministry is through the Sunday School.  Each Northgate member joins or is assigned to a Sunday School class (whether or not he/she currently attends).  Each class has care givers who give additional care to each church member.

Northgate Baptist Church Deacons and other church members form four specific ministry teams:

• The Prayer Team
• The Church Ministry Team
• The Crisis Ministry Team
• The Bereavement Ministry Team

These were formed to give very specific care to the Northgate family.

Families are invited to participate in Wednesday night meals served in the church Fellowship Hall.  Visitors are always welcome, members should make reservations by Monday (or put in a standing reservation).

Church-wide celebration meals and entertainment are held at Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4th, and other special occasions.

JOY (Just Older Youth) Club meets once a month for food, fellowship, and entertainment.  This is created for seniors, but they love having anyone who wants to attend.  The JOY club plans several special outings or trips during the year.
