Northgate Baptist has fun, Christ-centered events going on throughout the year. Below, you can read about some of our most popular events.

Fall

  • Trip to Skytop Orchards Each fall, usually in early October, Northgate’s family’s gather on a Sunday afternoon after church, enjoy lunch together and then the trip “up the mountain” to Flatrock, NC to spend a few fun hours at Skytop Orchard.
  • Fall Festival / Trunk or Treat Northgate’s annual Fall Festival takes place at the end of October and includes a free meal as well as games, crafts and plenty of fellowship. The event also gives our congregation the chance to show off their creativity by decorating their trunks as part of Trunk-or-Treat!

Winter

  • Christmas Eve Service Each Christmas Eve, Northgate celebrates the birth of Christ with a beautiful candlelight service.
  • Basketball Hoopsters from 5k through adulthood can join other athletes on one of Northgate’s basketball teams. Seasons run from December through February.

Spring

  • Eggstravaganza Join us in the Spring for Northgate’s annual Eggstravaganza, which includes Easter egg hunts for the kids, as well as food, games and crafts for all!

Summer

  • Vacation Bible School The church is transformed into an upbeat environment based on the theme for VBS. Preschoolers, children, and youth study the Bible, learn missions, do crafts, play games, and learn the VBS songs. An adult Bible study is also offered.
  • Basketball Camp A week-long camp led by college coaches, for kids from kindergarten-grade 10 focuses on developing basketball skills and techniques as well as studying God’s Word and how it relates to their daily lives.

Wednesday Services Come join us for scripture and fellowship every Wednesday night throughout the year. Adults are invited to attend prayer time and Bible study; there are also special classes & activities for preschool, children and teens.

ZOOM! Exercise Class The Ultimate Fitness Class for ladies of all ages and fitness levels. Improve Endurance, Strength, Balance, and Muscle Tone with No routine to learn! Classes meets Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30pm. For more info, contact the church office or email our instructor, Florene.
